Hello:

I'm filling form IM0008 Economic Classes-Federal Skilled Workers but have a question:

Is there a problem if I list "Software Lead Engineer" with NOC code 0213 (Computer and Information Systems Managers)?

Or "Analyst programmer" as User Support Technicians (NOC code 2282).

Even though the company I worked with listed my job title as an analyst programmer my main duties were those of a user support technician and my main duties as a Software Lead Engineer were those of a Computer and Information Systems Manager.

Thanks,
Roberto

0213 is Mangerial post, so if your duties were included manage, administer or direct people and you have your job experience, reference letters from employesr indicating that too.... than definatily you can use 0213 even your actual job title is different. This is what here most of people advised to memebers.

Using 0213 would be advantage and make you eligible for apply if you are under FSW-1, you can't with 2282. If you are under FSW-2 or 3, then its not a matter at all.

Dear mahharrouf:

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Can you explain what do you mean by "If you are under FSW-2 or 3, then its not a matter at all"? Sorry I didn't understand.

Thanks,
Roberto

for fsw2 and 3 , you dont have to have had one year of experience in the list of 38.
