NOC number enquiry

Hi guys, I am confused by how to select the correct NOC number.

The NOC number on my work permit indicates OTHER PROF ENGINEER (I checked the NOC code, it's 2148).
I checked the duties, but feel that the postdoc 4011 postdoctoral fellow seems suit me better.

Then how can I choose the code? 4011?
Do I need to send in a copy of the work permit?
If they saying the OCCUPATION indicated on the work permit is different from 4011, then how should I do?

So many questions, sorry.

Hi Faming

Since your work permit holds the noc code 2148, try to get a employment reference letter from your employer with all the duties listed as per the NOC code 2148(Anyone of the job title). Also ensure that you meet the Eligibility requirements and Additional information listed in the NOC when you choose the job title. Some of the job title needs additional experience etc.,
