The responsibilities mentioned in my JD are quite outdated or more in par of statistical analysis.
So I wanted to tailor it a bit more to keep its true meaning as well make sure its a bit in sync with 2174.

Yeah, you can do that. I did the same and omitted some generic ones.

Degree doesn't matter for noc... at least for IT ones. Many people who apply in IT have unrelated degrees.. like electronics etc. to their profession.

I am a statistical programmer as well with the same responsibilities as mentioned above. I understand the NOC code 2174 was the most closely aligned. However, with the updated NOC codes, I am somewhat confused between the following:

21230 : Computer systems developers and programmers
21232 : Software developers and programmers

Can someone please suggest what could be more applicable based on the recent standards?
