NOC code for SDET

Hi All,

I am facing issue with confirming the NOC code for my job duties, need help.

My job title is IT Systems Test Engineer i.e, in other words SDET.

I am having dilemma which NOC code to choose as the title is matching with 2173 but the job duties are more of testing related and not development; though job is development of automation testing.

Now my dilemma is Visa Avenue person told me to go for 2173 as the title is matching but I am worried that 2173 is more of development NOC code and not SDET NOC code. When I looked for testing NOC code, I found 2283 which is related to testing but more of manual testing job duties.

Anyone else facing similar situation, can you suggest me which NOC code is more apt for SDET position?

I went with 2173 and as of now everything looks good.
