Hey all,
I will be applying for PR under CEC in the next week or two. Just waiting on employment reference letter. I have an LMO based work permit since January of this year prior to which I held a PGWP. My title is Marketing Communications Coordinator and when applying for LMO I selected the job NOC code 1123. However, when I received the LMO, Service Canada had assigned me under 4163 and mentioned Marketing Coordinator next to it. Problem is, I don't do any of the duties under 4163, but most of them under 1123. The LMO-based work permit I received mentions my occupation as 'Economic Development Officer' which is one of the many titles under 4163.
My employment reference letter will only include the duties of a marketing coordinator, and although I don't have all the exact wording, I am not too sure how closely it will resemble the duties of 4163. It is not my fault that despite asking to be classified under 1123 I was assigned 4163, and much of the duties hardly compare.
Although my job is skilled, not sure if this can cause any errors in processing or raise questions. What should I do?
