Congrats pharmaguy!

Are you trying to say that you have cleared all checks in June 2010 and the file was transferred to ECU? if that is the case, then it's been a long time that they need to send the PPR and MR!!! Please clarify!

Hello members

I received my CAIPS on 15th May, 2012 through my relative. Kindly give your comments for these. The details are as under:
NOC 4131
1. Points Awarded = 69 (No points awarded for my relative in canada even though I submitted sufficient proofs - However)
2. PSDEC = Passed
3. SELDEC = Passed
2. Security = Passed
3. Criminal = Passed
4. ECU requested for
Current Passports*2 (old and new)
Medicals*2
RPRF*2
Proof of Funds

My BF'D was 10 may , 2012.nothing asked for till date.

Important observation from the CAIPS notes is that the file was transfeed in june 2010 directly to ECU and not lately as being speculated on the forum.

Kindly provide your inputs and evaluation for the same.
regards,

Hi all
I submitted file in march 2010 was in process from 10 jan 2012 and all the checks which i have mentioned as passes are assigned no 1 in jan 2012
File was marked to ecu in 2010 and not recently as many are saying bfd was may 2012 which i have crossed.
Those who have ecu in their caips should again check when their file was marked to ecu

Babbu, this thread is for FSW1 folks waiting for MR from NDVO

There are some folks with "In Process" who have a line on E-cas which says the processing of your file started on XX Feb 2012; we sent you a letter and there are others who don't have the line "we sent you a letter" whats the difference between both? I mean addition of that line about that letter being sent is a positive or a negative thing?

both cases are in process. Letter sent mean more positive because they can send request for documents,MR or interview. If your case is in process without letter that mean they did not take any decision on your case. There may be a fault in ecase because i noticed that letter sent line is added only cases with two file number. There are two file number CIC and VO.
anybody here -----
check ecase status with second file number(VO) and ecase shows "file transfer to VO" line.

April 17, 2012, Minister Kenney announced two additional changes that will help transform Canada's immigration system. One proposed change would help CIC ensure FSW applicants meet current labour market needs. It would allow new rules set out in Ministerial Instructions to apply to people who have already submitted an application. For example, instructions could place a priority on a specific occupation, such as doctors, and have existing applications from doctors processed first, regardless of where they are in the queue.

A similar change would allow new regulations, once approved, to apply retrospectively to people who have already submitted an application. These changes would help ensure that immigrants are chosen based on Canada's current needs and priorities.

Now category wise queue is a new queue system. In which category in demand will process first. I find out why they send letter to pre-june 2010 for wait 1 year, 2 year etc. There are lot of applicant in pre-june 2010 according to VO letter 144000 applicants did not receive any final decision. For example NOC 4131 status in Canadian Occupational Projection System graph.
http://www23.hrsdc.gc.ca/occupationsummarydetail.jsp?&tid=57
Projection of Cumulative Job Openings and Job Seekers over the Period of 2011-2020
Level Share
Expansion Demand: 10,922 21%
Retirements: 34,444 68%
Other Replacement Demand: 4,104 8%
Emigration: 1,505 3%
Projected Job Openings: 50,975 100%

Level Share
School Leavers: 21,802 64%
Immigration: 5,406 16%
Net Mobility 6,789 20%
Projected Job Seekers: 33,997 100%
They are selecting 5406(16% share in projected job seekers) applicants in next 9 years from NOC 4131.
Per year projection is 600 applicants and this is near about cap 500 of applications. The another thing which impact on immigration system is visa quota per year. So overall if they create new category wise queue system and priority first in first out and if this new rule apply on pre-june 2010.
New rule benefit is pre-june 2010 case process first then new case in same category. Loss is that there are lot of applicants so wait is long. So there are no chance to add old NOC under process in new 2012 list on 5 july. One another thing visa quota can give advantage to pre-june 2010.
Visa quota this year is 57000. So if this quota can not achieve from priority applicants then this may be achieve from pre-june 2010 applicants. This is the reason why they are not processing fast pre-june 2010 application.
Formule for estimate time according to new proposed rule :- How much time will take to process an application?
Start Queue Index + Applicant Queue Index / 500(Cap on Category) = Years

Hope they will process our application soon.

My bring forward date is tomorrow and I know nothing will happen so not enjoying this,

One thing to notice is that …in the last two Caips notes The Line which shows our B’fd date looks like

Paper file sent to PA ( put away, storage place for paper files) , File B’Fd to XXX on ---------2011

But Now its like : Paper file sent to MPR , File B’Fd to M1G on 22 May 2012

Now what is the meaning of MPR surely not visa officers name code, is it any department, or place what is this?

One more thing there is no line to request ECU for MR or PPT ( I wonder WHY), just B’fd date is there and pending MR—PPT-- RPRF written only
Seniors plz comment on this situation

In my case "we have sent you a letter on 29 Feb 2012" was the one requesting "KIT and APPLICATION FORMS" according to CAIPS outgoing. But I have not informed abt it by my consultant. In the "incoming list it is said that they have received them. So I assume that it may be a request to database not to the applicant. regards, Nicky
