Congratulations.... when was your application received?

27th August.

Hello fellows

Under NOC 4011, the educational credentials assessment in equivalence to Master degree by wes is mandatory or not?
Because of holding Pakistani education i.e (two years bachelor and two years master degrees program) wes is awarding just Bachelor degree equivalency.

Please tell whose cc or dd has already been charged thus we can find answer in the best mode.

Thanks

In Canada, bachelor is at least 3 years (mostly 4) and master's can be one or two years. Therefore, it is unsurprisingly that they give you a bachelor degree equivalence.

You may try. Officially, the cic officer may not consider degree of education when considering work experience. The cic officer may take into consideration that countries outside America may require less than a master's degree to teach. At the same time, recent court cases allow officers to use education and other background information to evaluate job experience.

One note: even that it is difficult even for a phd in Canada or America to attain an academic position in community college/university, it is unlikely that your master's degree outside North America will land you a teaching job in Canada. You may be prepared to work on something else if you land.

Of course, it's likely to be so.. But what's the reason to announce the immigration just on NOC 4011 ? This occupations list seems to include NOCs, which are in demand - or why there are only 50 NOCs, not all? Let's hope that there is real lack of lecturers in Canada... And all of us will work on other occupations for a short period after our landing :)

Yes, well said +1
I totally agree that even those who educated in a third-world country with an equivalency of a Canadian master or a PhD will not be able to get a teaching post in a canadian university. we have to think of studying again in Canada if we succeed in the immigration process.

Absolutely right you are. We have to study more for getting a teaching post to any university in Canada if we get the chance.

RiyadChowdhury bro. Just sent a PM to your box

Dear members I'm new in this forum and I really need advice from you. WES evaluated my education as Master's degree, and I attached document which shows that now I'm PhD student in my country (from Nov. 2014- Nov 2016). The problem is that I forgot to mention the entrance of PhD study in my Personal history :( CIC received my application on 19th November. Any ideas what should I do.
Thanks in advance :)
