NOC 2172/73/74 - A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science ?

Hi,
I am falling into these NOC 2172/73/74 categories but have graduated a decade back in B.E (Electrical and Electronics Engineering).
However CIC site says as below

Employment requirements

A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science or in mathematics
or
Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required.
Computer programming experience is usually required.

Experienced friends please advise if CIC will accept as I have sufficient experience though

Note it says USUALLY required.

No definitely required.

From what I've heard, the qualification part isn't the most important part. It's whether your list of responsibilities matches the description for the NOC code. Obviously this is different for things like architect and dentist, etc. but for most, I think the roles are more important than the qualifications.
