Hi,
I'm working as Software Test Manager since last few years. I worked in Canada for almost 2 years at same designation & similar role. When my organization submitted my request for work permit, it had made request mentioning NOC Code as 2171 (Information systems analysts and consultants - it was mentioned on Work Permit as well). Reason for this could either be that I've done MBA (Information Systems) or because an occupation "Information systems quality assurance analyst" also falls under this NOC Code. As my work permit was issued for this NOC Code, hence I mentioned the same in my EE Profile as well. Also, I got letter from my organization including duty similar to what is mentioned for occupation "Information systems quality assurance analyst" i.e. - develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness and overall quality of software products and information systems.
Am I doing it correct or should I try to search if there is any other suitable NOC Code for Test Manager?
Thanks in advance.
