Hello amazing people of the forum !

I'm working on my Experience letter. It will be signed by my immediate supervisor. For mentioning the key responsibilities I intend to use the following.

I would really appreciate if you guys could help me if the descriptions and appropriate and to the point. My experience is under NOC 2171 (IT Business Analyst).

enior Executive, Digital Self Service Analysis

Tenure:
February,2016 - February,2017

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct business requirement workshops with cross functional business stakeholders and users - to understand business flow, gather requirements and prepared Business Requirements Documents.

  2. Understand “as is” product and design “to-be” product. Perform gap analysis on the existing product in order to incorporate the feature requirements from different stakeholders, business users and relevant roadmaps.

  3. Translate and document business requirements into functional specification documents and prepare other functional documents that are related to mobile application development life cycle

  4. Translate and explain business requirements and functional specification to technical development and testing teams and support them in the overall development and testing process until the final release.

  5. Actively take part in system integration and testing phase as to ensure that the developed systems were properly tested to meet business requirements

  6. Liaise with all project stakeholders, developers and QA to ensure timely delivery and release of the mobile application.

Designation: Specialist, Business Architecture & Analysis

Tenure:
February,2017 - Present

Key Responsibilities:

In addition to the responsibilities of his previous role as Senior Executive, Digital Self Service- he carried out the following

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders in order to understand short term and long term business strategy and goals. Work on the app development strategy to achieve this business goals.

  2. Liaison with internal business stakeholders, technology stakeholders and developers as the single point of contact (SPOC) for integration of the platform with other IT systems and third party platforms.

  3. Conduct research and analyse the business data from different platforms. Create automated reports and visualizations from this data to monitor the performance and system health.

  4. Analyse business data to identify growth and optimization opportunities in order to ensure better service delivery

Thanks for the feedback. Do you think - there is ambiguity in the mentioned responsibilities?
I am checking out the thread :)
I am certainly not an expert but I believe the key is to keep it simple. The case officer needs to be able to look at the reference letter you provide, and match it up with the "usual responsibilities" they see on the database. You might want to rephrase some points to be simpler to a person who is not in the same line of work.

For example:
Translate and document business requirements into functional specification documents and prepare other functional documents that are related to mobile application development life cycle

Could be:
Gather requirements from stakeholders and document them for the purpose of implementation in upcoming application releases.

Just my 2 cents :)

I would like to know that these responsibilities for NOC 2171 are enough or i had to write something else , apart from this do i need to change my designation title from Project Coordinator to any other one ? applying for Nova Scotia PNP

  • Coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Make certain that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves
  • Help prepare project proposals, time-frames, schedule and budget
  • Monitor and track project’s progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
