NOC 2171 - Application status and CAP update

Hi

I have applied to 2171 through a consultant. The app reached CIC on Aug 13th. Til now I haven't heard anything. The CC hasn't been charged and I haven't gotten the PER. Do you think I am still in? My consultant hasn't received the app back and he's located in Canada.

Hi, Firstly as per your application received date you should be in CAP.
Secondly if your CC not charged than there is some thing fishy with your application.

What you can do now.
Urgently Check your credit card Bank for any transaction rejections. If so ask them not to do it anymore and make CIC as secure transaction.
Ask your consultant to write an email of query for status on your behalf.

Hi Everyone,

My packet was delivered to CIC address under 2171 code on 26th September 2014 and signed by Scarcia La Prova Di Consegna.

But there has been no activity on my CC either.

Can someone please help me with latest update in regards to a situation of Cap full ? Do I have any chance now.. like my cc will get charged in next few weeks ?

Your help/guidance/suggestion is highly appreciated.

Currently for NOC 2171 last CC was charged on 28th Aug, and regarding CAP update.

There is a reply from CIC to one of the forum member saying CAP updates are after completeness check. So based on this Sep month should be in the CAP.

But no one knows exactly how CIC working currently, so please wait for 2 more weeks on conformed update.

My package was also reached to CIC on Aug 13th. two weeks back they charged by CC but don't have any updates after that.

I am about to submit my documents tomorrow for NOC 2171. It seems that an angel whispered on my ear to login to this forum and read updates.
I was really surprised that this NOC had reached 1000 as of Nov 22.

I feel to disappointed but I'm looking forward to Express Entry 2015

As per the Spread Sheet recent CAP updates are from end of August. And it is observed that there is a change in pattern of CC based on some Hot NOC 2171, 2173, 2174, they are charged on priority to stop further application posting from candidates.

Hello all,
My app received date is 30-aug and noc 2171. I have no way of knowing if my DD was charged and my consultant hasnt received any emails from CIC.
What does this mean for my application? Am I in or out ? I was about to send my pcc application to FBI for US PCC. Should I wait or go ahead and send?please help !!

My application ws received on oct6th under 3012.presently its 561.just wanted to know its updated until which month.literally worried wud i make it or not...

Cap updated as on August 29th 2014.

Total received toward the overall cap: 9,242 of 25,000

2171 Information systems analysts and consultants 1000

This cap update is almost after a month they processed around 447 applications from last update (on July 21st) in 2171 NOC code.

As mentioned in my last post "Next update can be expected after a week or even month, I guess most of the applications of NOC 2171 from Aug will be closed" 2171 is capped by end of Aug applicants.

waakaaw Aug 29th is official date or its your guess, also I can see from SS Sep 2nd application is charged on 20th Nov. Mine is 10th Sep in 2171.

Last CAP updates are majorly updated based on Aug applicants. Here for 2171 Cap updated after last CC charge observed on 29th Aug. My observation on last capped NOC 2173 given below.

There are cases observed in NOC 2173 which was capped after last charge on Aug 12 and rest of the Aug applicants are still waiting for their CC/DD charge, but one of the forum memeber an Sep applicant posted his applicantion has been rejection and got informed on email for his query. So basicing on this 2173 completness check is done till September but again no charge of NOC 2173 happend there after the CAP update.

Zara, Aug applicants are getting PER and september applicants are getting charged, next update will give you a clear picture. Don't worry I strongly feel you will make it in the CAP, lets see how it fares end of the day.

CC charged update for NOC 2171 is 2 September
This is an indication that September applications are among the 1,000 for NOC 2171
Latest DD encashed:13 August
Latest PER:5 August
Total CIC Apps: 9,860 and not 9,242(Error in total applications received)
