Hi! I’m about to apply for EE and then SINP. I have work experience as a Content Writer/Content Marketing Manager. However, I’ve been told that my degree in BA Social Science does not match my work experience. I have 13 years of experience in the field as a content writer and online marketing manager, jobs and responsibilities match Noc 1123 but it’s my degree that I’m worried about.

Anybody have insights on this?

Don’t know your CRS or SINP score but as per SINP requirements, your education must match your NOC. You have to prove that it does. Is the NOC drawn and what is the score for those draws?

Actually, someone from an FB group told me I have not submitted my profile yet waiting for WES results and about to take IELTS. But per my computation and for SINP (with blood relative) my scores are good. For a Social Science major it makes a lot of sense to us to go into PR, marketing or writing careers it’s the SINP I’m worried about although it’s mentioned “or other related field of study”.

You will only know once you receive ITA and apply. Since you have a sibling, aunt/uncle, first cousin then you have a change for nomination.
