Dear Friends - I'm also planning to apply under NOC 1111 at the earliest, however I have a slight question regarding the Educational Credential Evaluation.

The CIC website clearly states that all applicants need an ECA. However for regulated professions such as NOC 1111 do we need to get an additional ECA from an accounting body in canada? I've requested an ECA from World Education Services. I couldn't find any information on the CA Canada website regarding ECA.

Please let me know your thoughts.

No seprate evaluation required for Indian ca max you will get 21 points which you may also get by evaluating your bachelor degree however if you have 2 of those, in your case ca + bachelor you get 22 points hence ca is worth 1 point

Thanks Pradeep. My WES is ready, rest of the docs. also almost ready. I am planning to apply 0111. But I need to go for IELTS. The latest date available is May 17th. Till I get result of it, I will not be able to submit till May end. More worried on cap may be filled by then. Lets hope for the best. Good luck guys!!!!

Hi friends, I'm working in Govt Bank as Assistant Manager performing general banking activities. I'm planning to apply under 1114, Is that a correct NOC... Plz guide me. And one more thing is that, my employer being a Govt institution doesn't allow to give any work reference letter. What can we do on this situation. Any alternatives... Plz

Hi everyone,
good to see separate thread for F&A.

I have done my WES and I have done B.Com and M.Com through distance,but my report showing
1.B.Com as Bachelor degree (3 years) Canadian equivalency
2.M.Com as Bachelor degree (4 years) Canadian equivalency

but how do I claim 23 points as Master degree.for my application?
and does it mean 4 years Canadian Bachelor degree equal to Indian master degree?
how many points I can claim for above case.?

Please please advise.

You should get 22 points ( 2 or more post secondary of more than 3 years )

Sri,
It should not be , however this is beyond anyone's control.

There can be files which might reach and come back due to inadequate documents. So it is equally important that we prepare our file carefully and send it once complete instead of sending in a hurry and then get a space in cap and get rejected later on.

Keep your fingers crossed and send the file ASAP.

I am sure 1111 should take atleast June end to get filled if it is in great demand. However as per the excel sheet out of 300 applications sent , only 8-9 are for this category.

We can have a look at the status from time to time from CIC site. you can directly click the link given below my signatures in the bottom of this message and you can easily keep a track of the applicatons submitted with CIC from time to time.
