hello. can you guys advice how come you have all documents ready so fast????
or you have them ready since last year???? but there was no NOC 1111 last year... OMG!
what you think about end of june? I think my documents will be ready only in June (IELTS and WES is very time consuming)???? is it worth to try or it will be too late?

Speed up dear.

There are chances for June end. But faster u r better r the chances. Keep checking regularly bout application received

You really need to speed up because people from all over the world have been trying the FSW for a long time. As this is the last year the FSw will be open before they swith to the Expresion of Interest model, a lot of people have been prepares waiting for the May 1st date.

Don't forget those who missed the NOC 1111 cap in 2012 are ready for 2014. All the best with your application.

I have the same problem as you and can't get an ielts exam before june 20 hopefully we will be within the cap as I imagine others have our problems

What I don't understand is why you guys waited until so late to get ready. Other people I know got their ielts since last year and early this year in readiness for FSW 2014.
Anyway, it's 1000 slots per ooccupation this year, more than anyone anticipated. Best of luck.

I think many people were thinking there wouldn't have been one in 2014 and they would go straight from FSW13 to Express Entry. When FSW14 was announced and with such a wide range of NOCs, it caught many off guard. One good thing about the 50 NOCs announced is that there are at least 10 NOCs suited for business and finance professionals, each with its own sub-cap, so many who would have applied in 1111 or 1112 in previous years can now apply in 0111, etc instead.

My occupation wasn't on the list last year so its not like I was expecting to be able to apply and many people thought there wouldn't be an fsw this year especially not with the different occupations available so it was a complete surprise.

So this makes it an open field in the newly introduced NOCs and with 1000 slots you stand a good chance if you move fast. Best of luck.

I am working as a senior manager with an investment management Co.
I hv total work ex of 8 years with life insurance and investment management cos. Managing client's wealth and advising them on their tax planning.

All my friends here are welcome to ask me as many questions as they want..
I have prepared my documents on my own and haven't hired any consultant for the same.
I started preparing for my docs in last September 2013 and have been waiting since Nov for fsw 2014 to get launched.

generally the despatch the ECA after one week, they receive the documents. but in my case they took 20 days to dispatch the ECA.

they evaluate CA is equivalent to B.com. so you can have one more point only for CA.

Hi Ruchil, thanks for ur reply. I'm Sabitha working in Bank as AM. I'm very new to this whole process. I though of applying under NOC 1114. Accordingly I have to match my roles and responsibilities and my manager also accepted to give reference letter. Kindly help me to prepare the reference letter as what are the details to be noted and how many roles to be entered, etc.
