Hi guys, I am preparing to apply under NOC 1111. However, I am having a hard time obtaining a reference letter from my bosses in our firm. Btw, I am from EY.
HR gave me a general document listing the broad functions of my position and out of the 12 listed items, which includes my responsibilities to the firm, responsibilities to clients and responsibilities to develop our services, I think only 2 can be counted toward the NOC qualification.

Those two are as follows:

a. Obtains competent evidential matter to substantiate the fairness of client's financial statements; prepares schedules, summaries and reports based on findings; assists in office functions and on specials assignments.

b. Participates in audit engagements and other firm activities under the supervision of more experienced staff members.

I need your advice, do you think I can qualify under the NOC given the such fact?

Hi, apart from the letter prepared by your HR, get another letter from a senior colleague or supervisor who can state your roles so that it matches what is on the NOC list up to 80%. This is important and you can attach this colleague's call card. Finally just include a cover letter explaining that it is against your company's HR policy to give reference with detailed roles stated. You won't have much problem as CIC is used to this. Wish you the best with your application

I also heard alot of those stories...But as always, I want to ask on how you were able to earn success in your first 2 years there. I think that's what everyone needs here especially for NOC 1111 applicants

To earn success, for me #1 is the positive mental attitude. If you think success, think you will become. Second, is upgrading. Though we are all skilled and professional it is true that most companies don't believe and they still looking for someone with canadian experience and education. So don't settle for less. There a lot of resources that you can be benefited if you really want to achieve success. You can volunteer to gain canadian experience. The true success lies in you hands. If you believe you can be the more than successful than you expected.

Same thing is happening to me. I worked in EY Dubai previously and HR are giving me a hard time. I even threatened that I will call a partner if they don't give me the letter ASAP. Let us see

Guys - another update from CIC regarding the cap status. 401 applications received out of 25,000.
NOC 1112 has received 93 applications.

Now If CIC is say 93 applications so far, can there be a radical change that by end of next month they will hit cap ??? for me main question is even though people are applying but applying doesn't mean acceptance.

Hi, you should try asking from your Partner. I did and she provided me with the letter today. Will submit my application tomorrow.

Need advice for filling up "Schedule 3: Economic Classes – Federal Skilled Worker Class (IMM 0008-Schedule 3")

Question 12: Work Experience:

I have been working for the same bank for last 05 (Five) years, with almost same set of duties & responsibilities, in 03 rank/designations.
1.5 yrs back I became head of my department, so some supervisory duties/ responsibilities got added. All these 03 rank/designations fall under same NOC (1114).

Can anyone please tell me:

• Do I have to show the designations separately ? or at same point ?
• The main duties column is too short. Should I add extra pages to get adequate space & describe in details ?

Yes please, show career progression and designations even though its under same NOC

• The main duties column is too short. Should I add extra pages to get adequate space & describe in details ?

Yes, you are allowed to use extra paper as annexure, just design simple excel template like the original form. Ensure you put the title of the form on top, your full name and the form question clearly stated. Sign the bottom of each extra sheet and you are good to go

I am indian CA with 6 years of experience and going to appear for IELTS on 10th July. I will put up documents after receiving IELTS result. I want to know looking to the current filling up status of NOC 1111 am i late for it.

No one knows, just get all your other documents ready in the meantime, like your pcc and wes docs. So as soon as you get ur results u can send the package next day.

No one knows, the spreadsheet, i am thinking shows approximately 15-25% of worldwide applicants, so you can use that as a sort of benchmark.
