Yes...even slower!

It seems like the SA (Sponsor Approval) is taking close to 3 months now, so you should hear something early March (maybe?).

Wow this really sucks
Does anyone have and ideas why they are processing everything so slowly ?

I think it's because the hamster fell off the wheel that powers the building where the workers are.

No power= no workie. ;D

Don't feel too bad...the wait for Inland applicants is beyond belief; you're one of the lucky ones!

Haha the funniest thing :)

Our application was received on the 28th of Oct and we got out SA only on Jan 19th so as you can see it took us a while and there are quite a few Oct applicants still waiting.

The processing times went up from Nov in increments and because of the holidays it shot up to 85; looks like some Nov 10ish applicants are getting their AOR now.

That's going to be a long wait :( . Inland applications take forever. The first stage per their site, is like a year. Hopefully yours is faster.

Stage one [Inland] is closer to 17 months.

That's really yucky. I couldn't imagine doing that. My whole thing has taken over a year now for an outland application. I can't imagine, two or three years.

Same here. But then again I would be with my spouse :)

That makes it worth it. I'm lucky as I could be with mine during the whole thing. I can't imagine going as long as some couples do without seeing him.

Same here. Mine arrived at their office on Dec 5th (based on tracking number) and I haven't heard anything yet, at least I'm less worried now.

I submitted OWP together with PR application, my question is, will the OWP only be issued after approval of first stage or else? I'm currently working with working holiday visa, I was wondering if I could get OWP before it expires 2015 Aug)

I'm sorry if it's been answered before.

if you applied inland, it's taking at least 4 months to get AOR from CIC. unfortunately, no one can tell you how long it will be until you get OWP, since you applied before the pilot program. there is no consistancy of who is geting issued owp, it seems to be random.
