I have applied over two months ago to have my pr request withdrwan, however I have yet to recieve any reply from the IRCC....how long could it take ? A year, or more ?

Your withdraw request is non standard given you received a request for additional information. It should certainly not take a year to hear back however it could take a few more months. It's hard to guess.

I don't know if they will let you withdraw or not. It could go either way. It's really impossible for me to guess. Good luck and let us know once you hear from them.
