Hi Members!

I sent my application to Canada under federal skilled worker program ( on my own and not through an agent ) from Dubai,UAE and the application was received by them on Dec 8th 2011 in Nova Scotia ( FedEx ) However, I have not heard from them since, not even an acknowledgement email.

Could anyone of you who has not used an agent service please let me know how long does it take for them to respond or confirm receipt of application.

I have heard that when an agent send your application, the file number is generated in a week or so and its been over 6 weeks for my application received by them. :(

Appreciate all help. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Vibbs

It was probably an agent who told you that you can get file number so soon :)
It can take easily a few months.

Thanks. That's a relief :)
