Hi all,

I have applied under 4131 and got my AOR from Buffalo Office.

Here is what killing me:

1. I have contract letter from one college only but I taught in 2 colleges, will this be an issue?
2. I dont have pay slip, is this will be an issue?
3.I have no tax document or anything. will this cause any issue?
4. All i have is experience letter from the Principal of these two colleges stating my salary, duties and so on, do i need more document?

I need your exp, thoughts, tips....thank you very much...

I don't think that buffalo consulate has pay slips or tax documents listed as one of the requirements.Check that.

But it is very common for them to ask for tax returns once they complete the eligibility review of the case. I applied under 4121 and they asked me for all tax returns in a letter that they sent me one year after I initially submitted my documents. So be ready for an explanation if they request for those documents.

In my case, I had not filled taxes for the years I worked in India since my income was below the taxable income level. I currently dont have the pay slips as this was 4 years ago. Do you have any suggestions for my case?

I am getting ready to file all my paperwork to Buffalo this week and any answer will be appreciated.

Guys who have made it through Canada should be in a position to answer this question pertaining to Tax and Salary slip documents

Did you get an official copy of a year end income statement or something which showed the total salary earned in that year? If you have that then you can substitute that for payslips.

I'm not sure about this question since I never worked in India. Here in the United States, we get something called a W2 form which I had to submit for additional documentation. I have read in a number of other posts too that Buffalo asks for W2 forms even if a detailed experience letter was submitted previously.

It is only my experience.
Like you, I do not have another tax return/pay slips, etc but an employmeent letter. They did not ask for this any way. And I got through recently
So I guess if you don't have, then you dont have, you cannot do anything about it. But if officer requests later on, you can write an explanation letter.
Good luck,
