I do not have Option C printout and filed my taxes for the first time couple of weeks ago. In a situation where I do not have any Option C printout, what is the alternative process?

It says to provide a letter, but can anyone please tell me what should go on the letter? Is there any sample letter (template) out there, that I can see.

Thanks

That's ok. You can include a letter stating that you just filed your taxes( you can include a copy of what you filed if you want). As to show you were employed, you need a letter from the employer stating your position, amnt of salary, hours your work during the week( 40 hrs/ 35 hrs..etc), if you are full time or part time and how long you've been employed. Usually if you tell your employer you need a letter of employment, they know what to write. As you don't hv an Option C print out, it is best if you also include your pay stubs and bank statements for the last 6 mnths just to be on the safer side. They need the Option C print out to make sure you were not on welfare.

Thanks for the info...
I have already obtained letter from my employer, which states all the information you mentioned in your reply. i am also planning to submit my T4 and pay stubs from 2010.

Thanks again for the info.

I suggest that you wait few more weeks and send the printout with your application. You said that you already filed couple of weeks back. It should be assessed in a week or two more. You then call CRA for the printout and can get it in less than a week.

The thing is that my wife obtained her medical and police report last month. and due to some mail issues I received mail late and I dont want to waster any more time.
