No linked to Canadian education anymore in CEC (starting Jan 2013)

Hi,


Is it right that CEC is not linked to Canadian education/ program anymore (starting Jan 2013)?

Now, its not necessary to do a job in same field as you did you master degree program in Canada?

Any idea it is correct or not? send me a link if you have regarding this news.

All correct.

Since people on work permit only need 1 year experience now to apply for CEC, Canadian education no longer makes a difference. The webpage (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp) makes no mention of education.
