No Communication Received in 3 Months

Hi,

I recently filed my application under Skilled Worker category while working in US. My application
was received in Buffalo at 10th June, 2008 and till date, I haven't even received a confirmation for receipt
or any request from the Embassy.

Is this wait time normal or is there a way to know the status.

Application was received per the Postal tracking Confirmation. Only reason I am anxious to know is I would like to book my IELTS exam once I receive the confirmation as I haven't yet taken the test.

Any advice/suggestions would be highly appreciable.

Hi, I am also in the same boat. My application is recieved on 08/07/2008. I still didn't get any response. Please let me know if you have any updates on this.

All immigration offices are waiting for instructions from the Minister concerning all applications received after Feb 27th, 2008. They allegedly should hear something from the Minister by October. So on the meantime, all applications for the Skilled worker stream are on hold and most offices are not even bothering to send out receipt confirmations, unfortunately...

When you see the new rules, you can figure out how the game will be play, in the mean time keep studying for IELTS and star packing or selling all your stuff,

I called Buffalo office and emailed also in an attempt to hear from them that they recieved my application. But failed to get any confirmation or useful information.
