No Birth Certificate

Hello everyone!
My husband is a PR holder staying in Toronto and now he is going to apply for spousal sponsorship. The problem is that i do not have a birth certificate. Apart from that, i am having all the possible documents that can prove my DOB. Pls help me on this problem. Is there anyone else who has been into same situation? Pls suggest the options which can help me get through this process of sponsorship successfully.

It's not possible to get one now. Can a notarized affidavit and letter of explanation would do?
