I have a US Masters (with WES ECA ready) and a bachelor's from India (did not get ECA). In the EE profile, I provided No ECA for my bachelor's.

I am reading conflicting info about this and nowhere there is a clear answer, did anyone have a prob when doing this?

Can some one who got a PR or knows someone who got the PR with the same scenario reply?

P.S. a kind request - please don't reply with your interpretation on the cic website info but reply only if you know for sure.

The ECA is only required to establish candidate equivalency in the education section. your ECA report for masters should have ideally called out your equivalency as either masters or postgraduate diploma. whatever the case may be, just fill that out in your education section. (only the masters). as for the undergrad degree, mention that under the personal history section and you will be fine. it is not mandatory for all your degrees to be evaluated. your points are gonna be the same regardless of whether or not your bachelors have been evaluated as long as your equivalency status is masters.

People get the bachelors ECA so they dont lose out on the two or more diplomas option wheb theu re not 100% confident their masters will be evaluated as such. Since you already got a masters ECA no need for bachelor

Thanks guys. SoI would then put both degrees in my education section one with ECA yes and the other with ECA no.

Thanks for your inputs.

Incorrect, Do not put you Bachelors Education If you do not have ECA report for that.

Just update Masters Education supported by an ECA number.

You can but no need to at all. It should just be listed in personal history

exactly.

If you already included the Bachelors in your education history, there's no need to fret.

Can anyone tell me the right answer to this.. I got ECA for masters but not for bachelors degree. I selected ' no ECA done' for bachelors. So do I need to upload bachelors transcript and degree

If you have ECA for Masters. Then please update only Masters degree under education. Bachelors is not required.

Can anyone tell If there are 2 contradictory open evaluations from 2 different ECA agencies, but the ECA of only one agency is used in the application, is there any need to ask cancellation for the other ECA evaluation/ deletion of the unfavorable outcome from the other ECA report?

If the unused stays open, does it cause any problem? Does the agent look for ECAs not mentioned in the application as well?
