Hi Guys
I've applied in December but still no news just my employer got phone call last month from nlpnp asking advertisements papers again he send those papers last month and still no news ..

any update ??

NLPNP is notorious for being late. I know someone who applied last year in June and still haven't received any word from them.

Just consider this, its been 5 months already and still they have no word on provincial EE.

I applied on May 2015 in St.John's in person. They told me that the processing time is purely based on on the job type & qualification and in most cases based on the validity of your work permit (If ur permit is goin to expire Jul 2015, u can expect a call by Jun 2015). Otherwise the wait time is 6months to 1yr (this is ridiculous and unfair fr applicants who apply earlier to be on the top of the game,but for the number of nominations(1050) they need to approve,6months is a reasonable time). If ur employer is called by NLPNP, then you should hear back frm them soon.

Just curious, based on the checklist, the ads for the job had to be submitted along with the supporting documents for your employment offer. Didn't u submit those docs (or) r they looking for more details? If so, what r they looking for?

my employer submit everything when we applied but they are asking again 2 days ago they called again and asked for mine and spouse updated CV so we sent them.
lets see when we get answer hopefully soon.

If you don't mind can u say me wht is ur NOC code and in which part of NL u reside.

As far as I know, your employer should have searched for a candidate atleast fr 6months and finally hired u based on ur qualifications (this is their basic requirement),if not ur employer shld satisfy NLPNP stating that u r too good at ur job and they really need u. They also take into account ur designation and ur pay rate in some cases (fr some jobs its easy to get a Canadian, and some not so easy,especially to NL).

I am eligible fr both International Graduate and Skilled Worker. I applied under International Graduate,which one did u choose ?

NLPNP has just updated their site with 2014 fact sheet. http://www.nlpnp.ca/pdf/factsheet_2014.pdf .

They have nominated only 317 principal applicants and a total of 656 including their family members in 2014. In the past 8yrs(2007-2014) this is their highest no of invitations issued

I am not sure how are they planning to reach a target of 1050 in 2015, at this slow pace and there is also no sign of EE. Fingers crossed

i have applied from spain and i gave interview on Skype he been looking for this position since and he could not find anyone and manager post in his company its skilled worker category.

hope i will hear soon from NLPNP

My friend applied on august 2014 and till now no updates.. Just asked his bank statements in Dec thts it.....

They ask fr updated bank statements to make sure u have the required funds,so they looked into ur frnds profile in 5months which is actually not bad. Did ur friend receive his request as an email or phone call? Next time ask ur frnd to ask fr his/her officer and get their official email. He can get updates as an email fr sure.

Nick2003 - I m not sure how things exactly wrk fr an International person to get PNP. I believe the process is much slower as they need to do excess verification fr all ur documents. If ur employer needs u very desperately, why don't u try LMIA and apply under EE ? (this process is much faster), instead of waitin fr PNP. Best of luck

If you have a Post-Graduate Work Permit, you must apply under the International Graduate Category. You can't apply for Skilled Worker category.

But based on the requirements tht they were looking for I satisfied both the stream (except for tht 1 clause u mentioned). Moreover, there is no fee for International Grad category.

Even with EE I qualify for FSW & CEC @ 452 points. I will make 510 by 01st Jan 2016 (2yrs complete). So whichever comes in first I will go for that.Personally, I would like to wait for PNP

U don't need to worry about PR. U r over qualified in any case. I think, its just a matter of time.

Im doing Master's at MUN. About to finish my graduation, but current job market is making me fearful and pnp rules r also frustrating. Thats why taking some extra time to finish up my study.
