The rule is that RPRF can be paid at any time during the application process before visa(s) is issued. I don't see how it is going to speed up ur case if u pay now. Usually they will ask u to pay during the time for medicals. In my own case I was asked to pay during update of documents.

Dear Friends

Please good people, help needed. i just need clarification this issue! After sending my application, supporting docs e.t.c to canada and my application is accepted what do i do next? wait or start sending a duplicate of these application i initially sent to canada back to accra.? I am confused o pls Good nigerians help me itemize the stages once and for all God bless.

What do you mean by application accepted? if you mean aor then it means they want you to send all documents to accra. In sending to accra you need some originals like IELTS and PCC police clearance certificate. I dont know if you are pre or post June 26th 2010. If you are pre, then gatther all your documents together include ielts, PCC, notorise all your post secondary school degrees, add that of your spouse if applicable, notarise ID page of your international passport, get original copy of your transcript in a sealed envelope addressed to canadian high commission, get a refernce letter from your personnel officer or immediate boss detailing your responsibilities in the office and dates (please dont copy exact duties on CIC website) include his complimentary card in the package and arrange them neatly and send to accra. I would send you a link later where you can get the details.

I hope this helps

My dear ielts is indirectly compulsory now. I would advise you write it because cic says they would not give you a second chance to prove yourself if your make written submission about your english and if that submission is found to be inadequate. Go and register for thye next ielts it saves a lot of worry my dear

people, this is a lottery of our time, can't believe there is still a nation like this, people, just be ready small, then with focus,we will move higher.spoke with a man who has lived for 50years yesterday and told me the biggest problem here is that people here don't really work hard, reason why documented evidence has it that immigrants do better here than residents.now i understand why foreign-trained professionals have it tough, cos like the old man said, they wanna protect their own intrests,my advise, before you land here, get info about a program related to your interest, get the right docs and move straight into it,forget all this survival jobs, its just a cycle that may not end!!!not necessarily a degree cos of time, but something u know you would pass and obtain a certification from it.and lastly, please if you know NABTEB graduates from home, encourage them to apply, those skilled trades make a lot of impact here!not as stressful as ours and i can tell you, their workmen are not enough here, large country, rich country, little people, little outputs, so much natural resources.don't be surprised to find this in canada, people changing careers like 3-4 times in their lifetime.9ja forever

Welldone Dreamteam. Good to know you are settling down fast and thanks for keeping in tourch. I quite agree with you about the survival job. I remeber in UK for instance you are not even free to pick your call during office hours and when you cant pick calls you will miss important interviews and remain in the survival job. I believe a certification in one's field can kick start one into the process.

@ Baba Awoderu haba!!! you have not collected transcript uptil now? i thought all the while you were waiting for aor you had collected and arrange everything ready for dispatch? anyway do fast and be sure not to miss anything out

Tinuadebola,

Don't blame baba awoderu o...9ija don "fokasibe" I have all my documents except one transcript from Lagos State Polythenic after getting the one from Yabatech,Ife and LASU the big reason is that they are on STRIKE! as usual.

Thank God I did only MBA at Ife, my wife's transcript for undergraduate at Ife took almost 3 months. I hope Awoderu's Ife is postgraduate sha o! if not ....It is well.

Transcript is a bit difficult in Ife coupled with the fact that they are now on strike. I got mine a day before the total strike. But was not so lucky for LAspotech.

though my expiry date for submission is Feb, ending, am thinking if I could use the 1999 transcript (original) with me? Or should I wait till the strike is call-off? Senior 9ijas please advise.

I would say use it, only if you can get the university to put it in their own envelope, get it sealed and stamped. A caveat though you need to provide proof for doing such a thing i.e. newspaper report alluding to the strike action. Or should I wait till the strike is call-off? Senior 9ijas please advise.

Good day friends,
Please I would like to know these issue of transcript, I was not ask to submit neither did I submit when I drop my full documents in Accra.
Though I gave one to them in Canada before the letter of acceptance was sent to me and I applied to CIC Ghana.
Secondly, I have collected my 2nd AOR with receipt of payment $550. showing my file number which my Ecase shows IN PROCESS since August.
I submitted my application in June in September, I was asked to submit my DOB, employment letter and copy of schedule 1 background for my self alone.
My question here is will they still ask for my transcript? Cos I think the next stage should be waiting for medical.
Please snr. Put me thru.
Thank u

From your narrative, it is obvious that the transcript u sent to CIC, Nova Scotia was later routed to Accra. So there will be no need to submit another one.
