Hello house,
I'm new in this forum and really love the togetherness spirit you guys have here. I'm a Civil Engineer with 2 yrs work experience with a made up mind to build my career in canada. I missed out in the 2013 Fswp cos my occupation cap got filled up pretty fast...waiting for the new one coming this 2014 with the hope that my occupation would be listed again but I'd appreciate it if someone can enlighten me on other routes like PNP cos I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket. I only know of the Manitoba family/friend sponsorship but don't have any family or friend there unfortunately. I really need your advice(s) regarding this.

Why don't you check out Nova Scotia provincial nominee program. It may still be a better option than Manitoba. You equally do not need an offer of job to apply.

Congrats. possibly you and your kids have different family names in your passport meaning you were still using your maiden name hence the request for consent letter.
Please concerning your passport, i have a few qestions, Did your passport expired before you requested for the change?
i. My wife passport has not expired but it has the maiden name, when it was stamped and there are still free leaflets but I want to apply for a change of name whcih means a new passport.
concern:
i Will they add another passport to it like yours?
ii. Will the old passport with the stamp be affected?
iii. Will it retain the same passport number.?
iv. Any implication at landing?

DHL just bought my package now, ...... ;D ... am soo happy ... i really cant tell whats so special is the stamp visa.... i dey look for ugwu leaf inside , i no see ham .na wah accra don change their visa ...

I landed in Calgary on sunday afternoon. The landing process was quite fast. I want to share some info:
If d entire family is nt landing together u av to gv a credible reason for dt. In my case i was asked y my husb wasnt wt us, i told him dt he had to sort out our stuff. I was asked if he gave me a consent letter to travel wt d kids n i told him i didnt know dt was reqd( anyone wt dt scenario shld av dt leta cos i heard another officer asking for d same consent letter).
There is no need to av ur visa restamped when u get a new passport. I just attached d old to the new wt rubber band n i wasnt questioned abt it ( i guess dts y Accra never responded to my emails regarding dt issue).

I have written about this before concerning your pension fund. You can add your pension fund. All you need to do is to log on with you details and print out your account statement, since you are printing from the web with all addresses, you dont need to notorized it. It is acceptable.
Omo Niaja is acceptable. I have written about that before on this forum.

Checked it out last week but my noc isn't among the occupations in demand listed. Seems I have to wait for the next fswp or go through the Manitoba route if I'm lucky to get someone who can sponsor me as a close friend.

thanks, i went to dhl on thursday 13/03/2014 to request for a pickup, i got my package on the 17/03/2014.. dhl make a whole lot of sense. i was about going to work around 9am when dey came knocking on my door..
