NEXUS- new PR

I landed on March 4 and I'm currently still wanting on my PR card to come in the mail. I cross the border a lot (US Citizen) and have previously used my NEXUS card every time.

Might be a silly question, but do I use the NEXUS card/lane and then show them my PR card if they ask when crossing back into Canada?
I went on the NEXUS site and there doesn't seem to be anywhere to update my status in Canada etc...so I don't think there is anything extra I would need to do in order to continue using my NEXUS, correct?

You do have to update your Nexus card information.

To the best of my knowledge you have to visit one of the Nexus offices to update your information to say you are now a PR of Canada. That's what my husband had to do. I think you have to go to one of their actual offices - I don't think this is something that can be done at the border with a CBSA officer (but I could be wrong about that).

Thank you so much!! Once I get my PR card, I'll give the Nexus center a call to see if I need to go in person or if it's something I can just update online.

Yeah - I would definitely talk to them and ask. My husband had to go in person - but that was 2010 and it could very well be a different process now.
