Hello All -
I submitted citizenship application on Aug. 11, 2025 and just received the AOR email today. In my application, I didn't include my nexus card as a travel document, and I am wondering if I should now provide my nexus card to IRCC through webform.
The reason is that, during my eligibility period, I used the nexus card quite a lot when commuting between Canada and the US at land POE, which makes me wonder if the nexus card number (as travel document) was actually captured at the border, instead of my PR card or passport (both were not presented when using the nexus lane). As such, providing my nexus card may help the IRCC officer review my travel history and thus verify my physical presence.
On the other hand, providing a new document, especially if it is actually not relevant, may inadvertently delay the processing of my case.
So, I am facing the dilemma and greatly appreciate any insights / suggestion you all may have. Thank you!
