I have a feeling we wont here a thing for a couple of weeks... this week and next because of Easter... this week is a short week and I believe next week is too... It is for me... Easter Monday which is also a government holiday.

Hello everyone!!! thanks for sharinf Smoothies, it sounds to me that you have an amazing family, and you need to trust that everything will sort out. Perhaps calling the cic for reassurance may help? Hope everyone is having a super day.. anxiously waiting to hear from our ladies regarding passport pick ups.. im soo excited for you!!!
Im counting down my days to get to JA.. im annoyed with the new baggage rules.. i over pack always, this really limits me.. grrr!!! we are going to be staying in negril from may 2 to 7 and still debating where to go.. we may even just just from place to place for the fun of it? Ive had a suggestion for the castle, which looks fun, and the food s supposed to be great, if any of you have nay other suggestions would love to hear them!

Irving The new baggage rules are insane. Who can travel to Jamaica with one bag?! I usually have one bag dedicated to family alone! LOL. I can't believe you are there for 14 days!! That is amazing girl!

Im flying west jet, I live in Edmonton.. no air jam from out west.. and tickets alone to toronto. are well RIDICULOUS! As on january I believe? air can and west jet allow one bag.. its super lame..!!! my flight home is even more crazy cause it was cheap with united... and you have to pay for EVRY BAG!! anyway.. ill be naked my whole trip... and if anyone asks its cause i couldnt afford my luggage.. hahahhaa!!

Irving- hubby and I always stay at Negril Beach Club Condos. their studios have a full kitchen with fridge and they don't bother you if you bring your own drinks to the beach. they have lots of shade for hubby and the sun is great. we also love that it's close enough to walk to town for small things. awww, I'm so jealous. Negril is one of my fav places to just relax and get alone time with hubby. ENJOY!!!!

oh, and for bags. I paid for my 2nd bag and just left it with hubby. it was worth its weight in gold cuz I overpack and always take tings for everyone as well. Westjet's price for 2nd bag is very reasonable.

My last trip we stayed at the negril beach club.. they are perfect.. and we have said that we would stay there if nothing else seems reasonable.. you deal with Jean in the back alley right? or the hotel lobby?
I need to look into the price for extra bag.. good idea leaving it.. cause he will be packing one SOOON!!! haha

Irving - I haven't personally met Jean but have always dealt with Deandre who works for Jean. I find them all pleasant and they remember us...and the price is fair. the first time we booked here we were with other friends and got the 2 bdrm apt which was perfect for us. The beach is deteriorating a bit (a bit of drop off when you first enter) but we sometimes go the beach down at Negril Tree House. It's nice and flat on that side.
either way I am sure you will enjoy your time.....cuz it's with hubby ;D
