ARRR weekends are the worse... specially when you have to sit at home idling by your self or go to family functions alone with everyone asking you when hubby is coming ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR plus you can't hear from immigration on weekends...

Kedeisha: I agree with your mom. A small and intimate wedding is just as beautiful and memorable and you can always have a bashment when you go back to JA to celebrate. My husband and I got married in Canada so he wants to have a dinner and party back in Jamaica, but as our one year anniversary approaches, I'm not so sure it's a feasible idea anymore.

proper: Sorry to hear you were feeling down and hope with a new day brought new hope and faith that you will get through this and your day will soon come. We all have those days... sometimes they turn into those weeks ... but hang in there Props, we're gonna be ok.

lonely_wife : Weekends are the worse!! It's just too much time to think about things and be alone. Thankfully they go by fast and we're almost through!! I feel soo bad. My best friend from Alberta called me yesterday and I just watched the phone ring. After I thought about why i did it... and it is because i just couldn't take the " so have you heard anything" question!!! This process is turning me into a monster to deal with! LOL. So ready for Monday when Kingston calls and I can say YES I HAVE HEARD SOMETHING for a change!!

Well we made it through another quiet and for some.. miserable weekend..and Monday is finally here!! ;D
Before Kingston even opens their doors this morning we have things to celebrate. We have spouses picking up passports... we have husbands coming home... Irving when are you leaving for JA?! Lots of excitement!!

Short work week used to be a good thing...has turned into a negative thing .. However Kingston has 4 days to give us some reasons to celebrate!!

Let's Go Kingston!! Reuinte some more families this week!!!

Good morning everyone...I've been feeling the same about not looking forward to weekends. I follow the thread for the office in Trinidad but just to lift your spirits a little I now have received updates twice over weekends. My status changed yesterday to in process and that they started processing our app on the 13th of April. So best of luck to everyone here!! Keep checking
