In my last attempt to unlock the secrets of the Kingston immigration office:

Waiting, Lonely and Ladyposh......

1.) Is it true that your ECAS status still said Applications Received after you had already gotten the call for Passport Dropoff and never said In Process?

2.) Had you all received an AOR letter?

LILMAYA, IT CAN HAPPEN I HAVE HEARD OF OTHER FORUM MEMBERS THAT THAT HAS HAPPENED TO...I THINK...BUT IN MY SITUATION IT JUST CHANGED RIGHT AFTER THEY CALLED FOR PP DROP...BUT MAYBE WITH THE NEW SYSTEM BEING IMPLEMENTED THEY ARE TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING...WHO KNOWS WITH KGN.

hmmmm i wonder if we will receive our AOR?? our ecas says in process as of April 8, 2011 yet we have not received anything, altho im not complaining. Just a ppr would be great!!

lilmaya i am so waiting on you to figure out the secret of kgn office, that would be just great, at least i would know where my place is in the line. I am so anxious again for something to start moving in my file again and i must admit that even though i am bursting with joy for all with updates no matter how small, i am also very jealous, hope that dont make me a bad person, i just want to see something, anything or just get a call.

Hoping for more good news today for someone, anyone as long as it happen.

i know I have been slacking up lately but the truth is sometimes in your lives you have the words to pray but they just cant even come out you have to pray them in your hearts, but am feeling much better today.

Ladyposh things are looking up for you.

lilmaya: my ecas has been saying in process since kg receive the apps, two days after the interview it changed to decision made.

TODAY I GOT ANOTHER ECAS UPDATE BUT ITS NOT NEW INFORMATION, JUST THE SAME, SAYING "A DECISION HAS BEEN MADE AND WE WILL CONTACT YOU CONCERNING THE DECISION," I wonder why that means, I hope it means they finaly sign the thing now whatever that is.

PS. we received our AOR the same month our file transfer to KG.

Lilmaya… thanks girl… I feel like its still not true… Hubby is torn between the two.. he thought I would be mad if he didn’t come now… So he talked to his mom to tell her he wanted to leave and she totally freaked out… so he decided unless the passport says a sooner date then july 9.. he will leave june 19 the day after the wedding… The tickets are so expensive right now, its not even funny they start going down mid-may… You are right, we will all be done with immigration so no more headache Youpi!!!! For your questions.. they called hubby on Thursday and I was updated 2 days later on the Saturday on ecas and it then said processing of application started april 6 so the day before they called… then I think on the Monday morning it said decision made and Tuesday they called…. For the AOR yes hubby got one in november…

Jahlove.. I think its normal at times to feel maybe jealous or envy… I can only talk for myself but I did feel that at some point.. so dont think you're a bad person cause of it... I think most of us at one point or another have felt it..
