I came to canada 3years back as a technical lead in a reputed firm. Since then I got promoted to manager in the same firm and also am Working as a manger . However, My salary is still the same and hasn’t improved a lot. (Almost negligible).
1. Can I keep working in canada on current WP and apply for a new WP with manager role. (In the hope that my salary will improve as my new role salary slab will be guided by labor laws). Is this allowed?
2. If my request for the new WP is rejected, will I have to go back or I can keep working at the old role?
3. Will it impact my existing WP renewal (maybe CIC will see a rejection for a different role tagged to me)?
Please advise.
