New PR Card

Hi, I hold a COPR (expiring on Dec 2nd 2021). I am planning my travel around end of October. However, i need to return to India as I have some unfinished affairs here. I understand the new PR card will take close to 128 days to get. Can I travel before receiving my PR card? If so, how can I travel back without PR card?

Will you meet the 730 day out if the past 5 years in October or when you want to travel back to Canada?

You can leave whenever you want.
CoPR is not a travel document. To return you will need a PRTD or a PR Card

Permanent residents with a valid PR Card shoud not apply for a PRTD right? So after landing if i appy for a pr card, provide a local address and come back. before my next travel if the PR card is issued, will the PRTD still stands?

If you have a valid PR card there is no need for a PRTD.
