I have applied for asylum in Canada on Sep 2016 and I have received the final decision on Nov 2016 accepted my case. I have applied for PR card and my application is in processing on Feb 26, 2017. (My wife and my son still in Iraq waiting to get the PR to bring them here)
I have checked the processing time for new PR on the CIC website and it said it would take 46 days, but I have a friend who applied for PR and for his family in Iraq he said the application would take 12-14 months to finalize. I'm really confused and I don't know what is the time processing? and when I can see my son and my wife?
Is there anyone who can explain to me how long does it take to get the PR and what I have to do to expedite the applications?
