This makes really good reading about the process. For those who are wondering about AOR etc... This should give the information you require! It looks like apps filled after January 2nd 2013 may more pretty quickly !

It's always a good reminder to read the OP 25 and the new OP 25-A... (overseas processing (OP) manuals, not operational bulletins). This is the guidance that visa officers follow...
