*We have been together for just over 6 years.
The first 2 years were online. getting to know each other, skyping EVERY DAY.

During our 6 year relationship, I have visited the Philippines 3 times.

First time was 28 days. April 2014. my father came with me.

Second time was 31 days. August to September 2014. i got married September 4

Third time was 8 months. August 18 2015 to April 22 2018
With our application, I made sure to submit the original receipts for MY visas for the Philippines.

* My husband has never been to Canada before. He has never left Philippines.
Kind of the same as you - we've been together for almost 11 years, first 4 years together in the Philippines then I left for Canada, and we got married last year. He's never left the Philippines either, and I've only gone back 4 times since I left.

Still waiting to hear back from MVO about background check and DM.

Hello,
July applicant here, still waiting for a DM. Anyone on same boat as me? Last email we got from them was dec. 9,17 a pre arrival invitation.
June applicant here - just checked our ECAS (we were unable to link our account) today, the status has changed from In Process to Decision Made :)

Have you tried emailing them?what did they say?
No, I've been reading through what everybody writes here and since processing time can last 12 months, I've just tried to be patient. My husband gave them call in Canada but the info he got was nothing more than what we know already from ecas and gckey. Almost 11 months na waiting game for us na, actually, and for some, it took only 6 months. They sent me an email for pre-arrival orientation though, first week of February and a request for another medical exam on the same week because mine expired. So, for now, it's on background process check and waiting for DM na lang but it feels like we have been waiting forever. I guess it's not the same for everybody, there some june and july applicants who got DM status na since January so baka you're gonna be one of them soon......hehehe.....after a week or so na wla pa ring reply, i might as well, request na for the notes but that takes about one month daw to arrive. yayyyyyyy...kakaloka maghintay, may petsa na sana me for departure but what can i do, walang visa....hahaha......

Hi everyone,

Ano ano po ba specific requirements pa aside from the forms posted on their website for spousal sponsorship? Ano po mga complete requirements na pinasa niyo?

Ang alam ko palang po kasi is the forms filled up from their website, Payment, Pictures, Marriage certificate.
Kelangan din po ba ng police clearance? (Police clearance lang po ba or NBI clearance?)

Meron pa po ba kayong documents na ini-add bukod dun sa mga nabanggit?

Yung Cenomar. It's a way of authenticating that marriage is registered. So sa cenomar before marriage it should appear that you haven't been married, sa cenomar na pagkasal na kayo. nakaprint doon na kinasal ka sa asawa mo .And I can never remember what it's called.

Advisory on Marriage po. I was asked to submit this piece of paper. Request lang ng copy from PSA to get this.
