We received our passport request...finally!

Got a really dumb question, but want to make sure everything is provided specifically according to what the immigration asks for. Appendix B states:

"Please complete this form for yourself, your spouse/common-law partner, and your dependent children, whether or not they are accompanying you to Canada. Send the completed form with your passport(s) or if applicable, photocopy(ies) of passport(s). DO NOT send passports for non-accompanying family members."

The words "whether or not they are accompanying you to Canada" threw me off a little. The principal applicant (my wife) is in Manila. Me as the sponsor is in Canada but I will be issuing her an airline ticket to come on her own and won't go there to pick her up due to difficulties getting enough time off to go there.

I was wondering if she would need to include my name, passport information on the form? Has anyone who reached this stage ever had any issues by only including just the principal applicant?

Accdg.sa rep ko if you the sponsor is a citizen of canada... you dont need to include your name... im on the same stage as you po heehehe congrats

Kayo po ba nagsubmit mismo sa vfs or thru courier po? Pina courier kasi yung sa amin nung monday nareceive ng vfs nung Tuesday pero until now wala pa. Sana next week meron na. Salamat sa reply ha.

You dont need to include photocopy of your passport. Your wife should just include you on the Appendix B. My hubby is also in Canada, I just submitted my passport and my daughter's and now Im VOH.

Thanks for the feedback. The appendix B wording threw me off a lot Have you received your passport back? What were your service fees total in pesos for processing?

Thru courier po. Mabagal lang processing sa VFS. It took them 4 days to forward it to Canada Embassy. So I suggest you submit it personally.
