My wife is approved now! They only received our application on January 27!

I had a request for more documents on April 20, and a passport request on April 24th. We sent the missing documents and her passport two days ago.

Today as I wake up, I log into her CIC panel, click on her case... and I see at the top "Your travel documents are valid"

Then in the lower portion it says a final decision has been made and your application is approved!!!!!!

I am really happy it has been so fast. I don't know why exactly, maybe they found our evidence very overwhelming.

But anyway, thanks to everyone here who has helped me and guided me, and may God grant you help in giving you the desire outcome.

In fact, many Christians I've told this about prayed with me so that everything would go well. Maybe it is indeed God who made it happen, haha!

They had asked for a redone IMM 5669 document, the CSQ document (since I lived in Quebec, I just received it like a week ago), and an Advisory on Marriages. Seemingly they approved our file as soon as they obtained them.

In our control panel, it is not yet shows that the additional documents were approved, but it is shown that a final decision has been made and our application was approved.

I was following your post upon seeing that we submitted our application the same week as yours. I was worried at first, but yesterday I received a letter from CEM asking for Orignal PSA Advisory on Marriages. It will take them 4 days to release them . I was back reading this thread and was hoping to find an answer if I could have them within a day because I was freaking excited that they are not asking additional documents besides AOM 8).

I'm glad to hear to that our application is progressing similarly to your application. Since they are asking for "Orignal Document" does it mean that I have to submit it to VAC vfsglobal or you just scanned them and send them via email?

My wife obtained the AOM at an NSO office within an hour or two I think. It was nothing complicated.

Then she scanned it and sent me a copy of the scanned picture of the AOM.

I then exported all three scanned document pictures (the AOM, CSQ, and redone IMM 5669) as PDF files (I used LibreOffice Draw to easily do this), giving them titles in the way they described in the request letter, and sent them an email with the files attached.

They approved it at the end of the next day.

However, in their request of the AOM, they didn't mention the word "original", this is what it said:

Adivisory on Marriages (AOM) issued by Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). Please note
that this document is different from marriage certificate.
So I don't know what to tell you about the need for an original physical copy or not. But perhaps you can try to send it by email.

Did you take it? Sana nag-IOM ka na lang. Grabe talaga sa St Luke's. They were my 1st choice as well but upon learning sentiments from this forum, I decided to go to IOM instead.

This the letter that I received yesterday.

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

Subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act establishes that a person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires.
In order to continue processing your application, we require the following information and/or documentation:

 Original PSA (Philippine Statistics Authority Advisory on Marriages for yourself

These documentation are reasonably required to complete the assessment of your application.

Please refer to the section on ADDITIONAL INFORMATION below on how to submit requirements.
I'm envious right now, I don't know why PSA Makati takes that long? I thought that if I walk-in instead of ordering them online it would be faster. I thought I could have them within an hour as you have mentioned. Previously I just ordered everything online every document related to PSA which also takes 3-5 days for twice the price but without falling in line with hundreds of people. Did she go to PSA Main Office in Quezon City?

During my time in November, I was told to follow up with them (IOM) after 2 weeks. But I emailed them prior to the 2-week time and IOM responded pretty quickly and advised that our medicals were forwarded to the visa office within 3 working days from the time we had the exam.

San ka po nagpa-medical?
