I actually submitted in march 2016 so that puts us at a year now and I thought the timeline is maximum 12 months or something

My understanding is 12 months is the length of time it takes to complete 80% of the files on average.

If it goes that long I am afraid if it's going to end up being a refusal. I worry because I am currently not in Canada. When I go back to Canada I s subject to when my wife's application gets approved.

But strangely it has not been reflected on the timeline. We've had to submit further evidence but also not reflected on the timeline strangely.

Martin, when did u submit the application?

Since you can only access ECAS, you won't see much on there. Unlike with MyCIC, you get to see more (see below):

The above was in fact my App's status

Since a new med exam has been provided, let's hope that the additional documents you provided are good enough and that you get your PPR soon.

Ok, that's a different scenario than mine. I am sponsoring my wife and two children.

Whats ur timeline? My husband just received addtnal docs last week. He is the principal applicant. You can link ur app online using the PA's name and info should match on the application
