try to get an immigration lawyer, and sabihan mo parents mo,na insist nila yun nawala mo file( I saw sa timeline mo sa left panel sa below your name na lost app mo), kasi yun time na yun ok pa sa law yun 22 yrs old as dependent,neto lng nabago yun rules.
Di nyo kasalanan na nawala application nyo, gather evidences and check with immigration lawyers.

sis we had same situation. during my family's migration, denied din ako kasi 22y/o nako during that time. it was aug 2013 nung nakaalis sila. may nagturo sa dad ko pag dating nila dito sa Canada na try ko magwrite ng letter, indicating na dependent pa ko sa kanya and na hindi kami sanay magkakahiwalay nov 2013 ako nag email sa immigration nun. nag reply sila sakin 3days after thru email na irereview ang papers namin dati. a month later nag send na sila sakin ng mail pinapagather ang lahat ng requirements ko binigyan ako ng 2months deadline to gather everything, medical, orig docs, background history, i am even required to take ielts. feb 2014 ko sinend application ko. july 2014 binigyan ako ako ng visa, aug2014 ako nag land sa Canada. baka depende sa Province? SK kami.

Hubby got a text from VAC na ready for pick up na ang passport niya.
Finally natapos na din.

Keep on praying and trust God po sa mga nghihintay.
God has a perfect timing for everything.

if you were only 22 before june23,2014 and your application was filed that time like youve said 2012 ,ypu are eligible as a dependent child.try to appeal and tell everything that your application got lost.

Tell to your dad na kumausap ng imigration consultant. Maaayos pa yan wag kng mawawaln ng pag asa laban lng ng laban.
