Good day po sa lahat! Can anyone enlighten me on the fees and refunds? My sponsor paid the amount of $625CAD, processing fee for both Sponsor and the person being sponsored. We received a letter from CIC indicating a refund amounting to $75CAD. What does it mean? Do we need not pay a sponsorship fee and just a fee for the person being sponsored? Please help... a little confused and worried. Good luck po sa ating lahat.

$475 for Processing Fee and $75 for Sponsorship Fee. Total amount is only $550. So CIC will return your $75 as you overpaid.

That's what I thought! Talaga lang ang hirap ng situation na naghihintay ng result. So thankful to have this forum with your kababayan helping you find the answers. Maraming salamat lifeinheaven... Hopefully be with my other half the soonest. Good luck everyone and God bless us all!

Thanks! Kapit lng my friend. In God's perfect time dadating din yan. Ung amin naman almost 6 mos walang update after ma receive ang AOR2 nag worry nga ako at nag order pa ng GCMS notes. Lol! Nagsunod na nung nag bigla nag change ang background check ng IN PROGRESS. After 4 days, tumawag ang CEM for urgent passport request kasi mag eexpire na ang medical ni hubs sa nov16. Malapit na yan.
