My wife and I just got an email from the embassy in the Philippines about NPI and additional history information. Did anybody else include an NPI at the start. It doesn't mention that on the Philippines check list and I don't know why they are asking for more Personal History since work history and addresses lived at were already included. Does anybody know how long it takes to get an NPI?

What do you mean by NPI by the way?

Sorry I mean NBI national bureau of investigation. We sent police cleanance but now they are asking this plus to fill out more personal history. Maybe we left a gap in the history.

They are in fact referring to nbi clearance when they required police clearance. It is stated in the website. There's a new policy in NBi where you have to make an appointment online. Getting a clearance would only take a day unless you are a "HIT" which would take 15 working days or more

No ppr yet. Pero last Aug 26, nagemail ang CEM samin asking for my husband's police clearance from Japan.and we already sent the doc last Aug. 27.
