Hello everyone! It's been a while since I posted here and I think I owe an update especially to those who've helped me along the way and also to give hope to everyone else in the waiting game...
Just a recap, we applied under Conjugal Sponsorship last Aug 30, 2016. I have 3 kids, 2 from ex (non accomp) and 1 with current (accomp). My sponsor received an urgent call from IRCC last March 3 (ph time), next comes a PPR email for me with "URGENT" on the subject field. I was so shocked and saddened to see that I only have 5 DAYS to comply, and exactly 2weeks to get into Canada before our medicals expire on March 17,2017.
I went to VFS that same day (
march 3) except, I arrived 10mins late on the cutoff...
I came back monday (
march 6),
received visa and copr
march 8,
booked tickets for me and baby, and attended PDOS on
march 9,
left for (and arrived) Canada
March 14, 2017...Exactly our 4th anniversary.
Everything was too sudden! I felt a little bit angry coz I didn't have much time to prepare and spend time with my 2 older kids which I left behind. Hence, I am more than grateful to have our prayers answered! All praises to our God Almighty! Most of the time, when we are just about to lose hope, he'd send us something extraordinary and sometimes, the opposite of what we've been praying for... But, it's only bec He knows best and He gives only the best blessings we need. So, to everyone waiting,
JUST BE PATIENT. I used to hate reading this when other migrants say it. But really, it will all be worth the wait.
