Hi,

I have a question and hope you can all help me on this. We already got our AOR2, and I have a TRV so our plan is that I wait for my PPR in Canada. Initially, I thought that I have to go back to the Philippines once CIC/MOV sends my passport request but I saw some instances wherein others also wait it out in Canada and then just land in the border. How can this be done? Once I receive the passport request, how will CIC get my passport if I'm in Canada?

Hope you can provide advice on this.

-you can submit your passport to CPC Ottawa and once you received your passport back with visa you can cross US border.

Do you have any idea on how long would it take for the medical request to be sent after receiving an AOR from the manila immigration office? AOR was received on July 4, 2016.

Do i have to wait for the request or could i do the medical exam upfront?

I'm a sponsored spouse applicant from the PH.

-You can still do upfront medical once your sponsor got sponsor approval. you can present the sponsor approval letter to any accredited clinics in the Phil.

Noted. Thank you so much! I missed to read about it. Would it be ok to do that or would i have to wait for their request? I'm afraid that my application would get afffected badly if i'll be doing it.

ako nearly 2 months na.even email as a form of acknowledgement na nareceive nila yung pinasa kong PSA birth cert wala ako nakuha.last na yung aor2.

they sent me a generic email as an acknowledgement receipt na nakuha na nila additional docs ko mga 5mins lang after i sent it.

buti ka pa. i sent mine thru courier kasi PSA birth cert yun so i thought they need original copy kasi baka isipin nila peke so i decided to send them thru LBC. nareceive naman ng guard don sa building nila pero wala silang notice. may mga case din ata na wala silang nareceive na email from CEM after magsend ng documents.

7 weeks sa akin noong nag update sila
