I just want to ask .gaano katagal un maximum wait para matapos un background check? Our background check started last sept 20 . I dont want to compare to other timelines pero yung mga kasabay ko ng background check halos ppr na lahat thank you po

I need help writing a VISITOR VISA for my HUSBAND in the Philippines. I was advised by an immigration agent (from the cic contact) that I can send the SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP and the VISITOR VISA at the same time.
I was hoping someone had an experience with this and was successful. Hoping to get a template or sample letter. And if we are to book him return tickets or just one way air fare?

Me!hehe hopefully we both get PPR soon para naman makaabot tayo ng pasko with our spouses. Happy rin ako since my hubby will visit me next week for 3 weeks, sana sabay na kami pagbalik nya hehe wish ko lang xD

Hello. Another question po ulet cozcmay conflicting info akong nabasa. Sa Form na finil-upan, no need ioasa ang police clearance ng country na nag stay ka pag more than 10 years na lumipas. Sa ibang resources naman, need pa rin mag submit ng police clearance. Nag work kasi ako sa UAE from 2001 to 2006. Need ko pa rin ba humingi sa UAE ng police clearance? Thanks po sa makakapag clear up.

Hi, Just to share lang about the UAE police clearance. you can apply online and they will send the police clearance through your email after 3 days. Make sure you have the passport no. you use when you were in UAE or if you still have the copy of you labour card. Here's the link:

To use pre-arrival services
To access these free in-person and online services, you must be outside Canada, and you must have one of the following documents:

• An IRCC invitation letter to obtain pre-arrival services,
• A Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) letter,
• A passport request letter that indicates Permanent Resident visa issuance,
• An IRCC request that an applicant for permanent residence complete medicals,
• A Single Entry Permanent Resident Visa, or
• A Permanent Resident Visa pick up notification letter

These services are for Permanent Resident applicants only. Temporary Residents are not eligible for the services.

Note: It's a generic notification/letter to help orient incoming residents, I honestly don't know if there are people who avail it but it's not mandatory. It's still a good sign for your application because it's one step forward
