Hi,

With my current employer for over 5 years I am working in a Dept with job responsibilities for my relevant NOC.

Now I have got a job offer from a company with better designation and package; they want me to join immediately. The new company does not want me to serve notice period with my current employer and is ready to buy out my notice period.

With submitting the full documents I have attached my reference letters and contact details of my managers and HR. If I leave my current employer in bad taste without notice period and if the immigration guys call up for ref check I am not sure if they will verify and in probability might down play me.

With the current timeline trend at my VO I am expecting my medical in another 30 to 45 days.

I am not sure what to do, pls suggest!

Std Corporate Procedure - try to leave your employer in good standing... one never knows when u'd need their assistance. Rest, your circumstances should guide u.

Leaving your employer at any time is not a new thing and it shouldn't throw up a disaffection. I think the real issue is the "How" and the "manner" of your leaving.

Let your employer be aware of your intention in all honesty. Maintain good relationship though leaving.

Not only you will require reference checking by visa office now but you will be required to give references of your earlier work places when you take up job in Canada. Like everyone said maintain good relationship.
