NEW Immigration Minister

Well it sounds like things are changing again. There is a new Minister of Citizenship And Immigration, Toronto area Chris Alexander. Wonder what we wil be talking about a year from now ?

How will it affect processing of existing applications ??

I don't think any of us can guess what changes will come, but it is hoped that the rules that were in existence on the date you applied "should" stand. Sadly from recent experience with the backlogged applications that were returned, we know that anything "could" happen. Hang in and hope for the best.

I am not expecting any major change.The policies are not made solely by the Minister .The real Minister is the Prime Minister .In my view,its just a face change before the 2015 elections.
