New Immigrant

Hi:

I am Ahmad from Syria but I live and work in Riyadh. It has always been my dream to immigrate to Canada and live there. I havent applied yet, still at the very beginning of the process. I want to ask those of you who have gone through this process, how much time should I expect that the immigration process is going to take? Is it very long? I am really eager to go as soon as possible. Thanks in advance

in reality , the process time varies according to the type of application and the office . FOR example damascus office is the slowest on earth, it takes about 5 years or more to finilise you case (skilled worker) but since u are living in ryad u can apply through london office but i think the bg checks will cause a delay in ur file since u are living in the middle east.
