Hi, just want to ask anyone could respond. I have a friend who came here in Canada last year as a landed immigrant after a month they came back to their country of origin, but will be back next year for good. Will it affect their re-entry, will they will be questioned upon their arrival, will there be a problem?

No. This is a common scenario.

For the first three years the BSO will not question them on their residency obligation. As long as the time remaining in their first five years is enough to satisfy their PR residency obligation, they will be fine. However, if they leave and then come back in 3.5 years, they are subject to being reported for violation of their PR residency obligation.
